Richmond Animal Rights is a group of animal rights activist based out of Richmond, VA that started in the late fall of 2008. Elise Barrus has been the main force in organizing this group and it is due to her persistence that this group is really starting to grow.

My name is Derek Toro and I offered to create this website to give us a place for our group members to post ideas, have discussions, post pictures, post vegan/vegetarian recipes, and to have a central place where we can schedule and organize events. If anyone has any content ideas for this website and/or has design ideas/experience please let me know as I am not the best content writer nor am I the best graphic designer. I am however a very seasoned web developer and can take care of any technical issues that occur. Below is a list of what I could use some help with right now from anyone or the group as a whole.
