Hello, I'm Laura. I joined Richmond Animal Rights recently and volunteered to help Derek and Elise out with the website, so this is just a test post to make sure everything is working for me. I'm a student at Randolph-Macon College but am getting ready to graduate in a few months. I'm an Environmental Studies and Political Science major and hope to enter a career in environmental and animal advocacy. I've been a vegetarian since the age of 12 but only vegan since early 2008. Over the past months I've become increasingly aware about how connected environmentalism and animal rights activist are, and now I'm working hard to inform people about these issues. I enjoy designing websites, so hopefully I'll be able to assist with the site in a creative way. :)
