What I am working on

2. Working on adding in an editor to all content creating areas so that anyone can make their text bold, underline, change alignment, make bullet list, add images to content, etc... without having to know html.
3. Working with Elise and Laura on a better look/feel for the site.
4. Working on creating a links page so that we can link to our favorite animal friendly websites.
5. Trying to find out why the google map macro creator is not showing markers on the rendered map.

Submitted by Dtoro on Mon, 01/12/2009 - 11:09am.Hi, my name is Derek Toro. I helped to create this website. I became a vegetarian about 8 years ago and became fully Vegan about 6 years ago. I went fully Vegan after hearing Howard Lyman speak one summer in Charlottesville, VA. For many years before becoming Vegan I was a Chef in many restaurants in and around the Charlottesville area. About 8 years ago however I made the switch into the IT world and haven't looked back since.
